    Craig Miller brought a lot to the TI. Just recently found out he passed away.

    I discovered the software company MONSTERVISION while digging about in some of my files. It appears that they released what appears to be some interesting games. Does anybody have some of their titles they could share? It looks like they were from Germany?

    I'm in a one bedroom, 1 1/2 bath home. It also has 3 dens or man caves if you will - one is the TI room, and the other two are set up drum kits & TI storage rooms.

    Omega, I'm glad you like them. I get a great deal of pleasure in putting them together and hope I am selecting stuff that fellow TI'ers find interesting and maybe in some cases informative. I get such a kick out this that I've had the July issue done for 2 weeks. The August issue was put to bed a week ago and I'm working on September.

    Yeah, I don't think it'll work with win 98.

    Arcadeshopper to the rescue! (again!) I now have version 2.7.3 of Python installed from that site. Here's hoping it has the capabilities needed to use the TI browser.

    No sir 2.5.4. It was said that this would work with win 98. I apologize for the trouble and my stupidity on this.

    Thanks to Arcadeshopper I was able to download a copy of Python on my PC machine. But I must ask for a little more help, sorry. I have no idea on how to setup Python to be used with the browser. Can someone tell me what to do? Also - will the HDX RS232 cable I have between the TI and pc work with this?

    How much does one of these cost? I have a myarc hfdc and corcomp in one peb and a myarc dsqd and wht scsi in the other.

    This is interesting to me. I have no plan of ordering a UDS-10 but would like to have access to the internet browser. My PC in my TI room is running Windows 98se. I do not have Python. Will Phython run on Windows 98 along with your emulator? I know Windows 98 is dead,dead,dead but I will not change on this computer as TI99-PC works beautifully on it to transfer floppys back and forth.

    I have a Myarc 512 and a WHT SCSI and don't have any issues? I use the ramdisk on the Myarc every day for lots of things and use Myarc XBII pretty frequently as well. Pretty much the reason why I probably won't get a SAMS meg card - at least right away, I gotta have these 2 things. My cru setup 1000 - Myarc 512 1100 - Myarc DSQD 1200 - 1 meg Horizon 1300 - TI RS232 1400 - WHT SCSI 1900 - Myarc 512 1D00 - Corcomp Trip Tech ??????

    I am a TI-99/4A fanatic at heart, but I am intrigued by the voice, because it has speech like my ti. I have ordered a copy of type and tell so I can play a bit more. And yes, I'll be seeing how the O2 does with cuss words.

    Thanks omega. I primarily want to use it to make backups of my floppies and save space on my scsi and mfm drives. That daughter board runs at a higher speed as well right?

    Finally got off my duff and made a proper cable to try HDX between my TI and PC. Works fine using CfHdx v1.2 on the TI end. I can move ti files back and forth. I cannot use DM2k or Dsk2Pc v1.2 on the TI - states HDX1. not found. Is this because I do not have the daughter board in place on the RS232 card?

    The recorder definitely will need the mic input and ear output. The remote control is really only needed for database saving,loading. I strongly recommend a recorder with a tone control. Most older recorders have tone control.

    I pretty much use one of my super carts for myarc xbii and for a Plato cart hack on disk that requires it. There are also a couple of infocom games that need it also.
