  1. A couple more disks dug out of the pile. First disk is Wheel of Fortune and Yahtzee. The twist with them is they are programmed using STAR (Super TI Assembly Routines). The docs on the disk state that you need to add STAR to the disk, but you won't need to as I've already set the disk up properly. I like both of these games but one thing that's always bothered me is the end of the dice roll animation there is one pixel lit up at the top left corner of the dice. The second disk is the STAR package. I figured I'd better upload it for all the programmers that might like to see it. Some of the demo stuff is pretty neat. Hopefully these two disks are something new for some of you. conTInuing, -Ralph... wheel.dsk star.dsk
  2. InsaneMultitasker... That is the absolute shits about your disks! If you do find the files on one of your platters, I for one would be interested in the enhanced DSKU. BTW - Your SWAPDIR is awesome!!!! I am already using it to put various games on one disk. Using your fine software I now have a 3 1/2 floppy that contains Legends I, Legends II and Old Dark Caves. Thank You!!!! conTInuing, -Ralph...
  3. Hello Fellow TI'ers, I have been looking for a game called MAD DOG I and MAD DOG II(with assembly). It was released by Data/Ware. Anybody got a copy they could upload? Always wanted to see what this game looked like. conTInuing, -Ralph...
  4. Crystal mod Reset mod Load Interupt Pause switch Cap lock mod Made a remote TI keyboard Atari joystick mod (many times) Bally Joystick mod video resistor mod video capacitor mod angle up joystick adapter angle down joystick adapter Disk side switch Probably more, just can't remember right now. conTInuing, -Ralph...
  5. Hello, Send me a PM with your address information and I'll try and get a disk off to you Saturday. Please note: I have launched the above files on my main system and it seems that the speech is sometimes garbled. Gameplay seems fine. I don't know if its the file or an issue running on my main system. The main is set up with a Triple tech card inside the Pbox and I'm using a GramKracker so that could be the issue. I am running it using E/A option 5. I'll try it on my alternate system and see if the speech works better. Anyway, if the above is ok, I'll put together the disk SS/SD per your instruction. Again I'll ask, any others that you might want? conTInuing, -Ralph...
  6. I can probably put one together for you. What's your disk capacity? Sssd, dssd, dssd, dsqd? Any other files you might want on it? ConTInuing, Ralph.
  7. No problem on the post. I attempted using supersave to see if I could convert to ea opt5 but was unsuccessful. Maybe one of the brainier cats like you can enhance it a bit. I never played it too much so maybe somebody else either has or will play it and get all the nuances posted for further fun.
  8. A Couple more .dsk files for your gaming enjoyment in case you don't have them. The dragon.dsk contains one file - dragon which loads with Editor/Assembler Option 3 (Load & Run). The game autostarts. A few of the other geezer TI'ers like me will remember this game I think. I seem to remember it being available commercially but I cannot say for sure (typical geezer trait). It kind of reminds me of Defender. The runner.dsk contains 4 different data files for use with TI Runner. ORIGINAL - which is the file that shipped with TI Runner, HITE - a file written by an individual named Hite, ADVANCED - This is a file that shipped with TI Runner Editor - 44 new screens, And finally the file that is on the disk named LEVEL28 came from a individual from France - 50 screens. For those that might not know, If you wish to play one of the other files, you just need to rename the current LEVEL28 file to something else and then name the file you want to play to LEVEL28. Finally - the disk contains 2 different TI Runner main programs - RUNNER31 gives you 3 lives per attempt. RUNNER501 gives you 50 lives per attempt. Also pressing Function 5 after a screen has loaded will take you to the next screen. Pressing Shift 3 will stop the game and wait for you to enter a two digit screen number then will load same. conTInuing, -Ralph... Dragon.dsk runner.dsk
  9. Many moons ago I purchased a copy of HARDBACK by Tom Freeman. I used it to back up my MFM hard drives with the Myarc HFDC. I do not presently use one of my HFDC's (but may hook up again later) but I always liked the way the program worked. I tried using the program with my WHT SCSI drives but it will not work. I assume the program is looking for something specific on a HFDC? Anybody have any ideas on a hack or whatever so I could maybe use it with a SCSI? conTInuing, -Ralph...
  10. The Portable TI. MICROpendium Vol 6 #5 J Janowski conTInuing, -Ralph...
  11. I have been trying to backup my TI formatted Zip 100 and Syquest EZ135 disks using the backup under Tools in Fred Kaals WONDERFUL TIDIR. It works just fine with one computer that is running Windows XP - At least the ZIP drive does - I do not have a Syquest connected to this machine. My problem is trying to back up using a machine with Windows 98se - This machine DOES have a Syquest drive attached and that's my problem. On launch of the backup prompt I first get: W9xGetDiskInfo failed err=0 Then it will open the box to set up the backup. When the backup is started it will read the disk and then stop stating that sector 640 cannot be read. It does this same error with the Zip or Syquest disk. I attempted to email Fred to ask about it but the email in his doc file doesn't work (at least for me). I am using Fred's latest - 5.5b. Any ideas? conTInuing, -Ralph...
  12. Just dug this disk up out of the pile. Pretty interesting software. Load in E/A option 3 - filename is LOAD. The disk is odd as when a directory is asked all that shows is LOAD. I hope my conversion to .dsk works ok for you all. I don't think the WINDOS is complete though. Hopscotch is pretty fun. The other two programs are interesting too. conTInuing, -Ralph... windos.dsk
  13. I have a myarc 512 in both systems I'm using right now and a converted one for one of my 9640s when I finally get around to setting one up. They are nice because of the RAM disk that can be set up. I use it all the the time for mcopying disk with lots of files. Plus the fact of running xbii.
  14. Boom! Am I ever glad I posted this! conTInuing, Ralph
  15. Glad you like it - I do too. No idea on who authored. Both versions were apparently released by American. The original releases used an XB load file that brought the games into memory via an D/F80 file. I converted to what you see using good old SYSTEX. Like I said, I dig this game. I like the black version the best because of the better graphics... conTInuing, -Ralph...
  16. That's a good idea Ksarul! When I get a free moment I'll hook one of the Multicoms to a PEB with just a disk controller on board and see if they talk to one another.(yeah, right - I keep getting distracted when I dig up another TI treasure, just found my Gramkarte as well.). I bought the Zenoboard direct from Eric Zeno many years ago. Fiddled with it a bit and then stored it with the rest of the hoard. My "hoard" is pretty much the reason I've not taken a picture of my system(s). I have stuff in 3 rooms in my house - accumulated from years of fellow TI'ers baling out to go with a PC or Mac and selling their TI stuff to me. conTInuing, -Ralph...
  17. Came across this today while going thru the box piles. As memory serves me I put it together with the speech synthesizer part. Can't remember if it worked or not. I'm thinking I'd like to put together with the 32k on board. I found my Percom TX99 and It would work out good with a console that has expansion memory on board. I have a Multicom 32k,RS232,PIO sidecar but the TX99 and the Multicom don't seem to like each other. Anybody have any input on the zenoboard? Or.... Anybody have a console with 32k on board for sale?? conTInuing, -Ralph...
  18. Is there a version of ROBOTRON that runs from E/A option 5? I thought I had a version that did just that but can't seem to find it. conTInuing, -Ralph...
  19. As I slowly go thru my thousands of 5 1/4 disks that I have accumulated since the 80's I came across something I wasn't aware of. There are two versions of ENTRAPMENT. Truth be told, this is probably one of my favorite TI games because you can actually beat the bugs. The game gets pretty hard on skills 3 thru 6 as well. I have attached game images and a .dsk file with both versions on board. conTInuing, -Ralph... entrap.dsk
  20. Being a former newsletter editor of the VAST users group I know the labor of love that goes into a newsletter. Bravo!
  21. Funny thing is I used one at work. Keeping track of automotive technicians flag time. Using a software piece programmed by none other than Bill Gaskill. Time track was the name is memory serves.
  22. Geez, You guys are really gonna be ticked at me - I've got 2 Geneves packed away. Been thinking about pulling one out and firing it up though... conTInuing, -Ralph...
  23. Success! Thanks VERY much! conTInuing, -Ralph...
