I have more photos of what come with the lot HERE.

Selling a Heathkit H19 Terminal with documents. I got it from the original owner/builder a while ago. Sadly when I turned it on it let out the blue smoke genie. I believe it was from the power supply and the monitor did come on for a brief second. So I'm selling it as is.
Pickup in Pemberton NJ.

Yes one of the members here, Fabrice Montupet, has done this with his TI(ny)-99/4A:
Wow nice! shame there hasn't been any word on it since April. Would be a great DIY project if we could get a bare board.

So using a RPI, kinda like the amiga vampire cards ?

I'm not sure if it's been asked before but has anyone attempted to retrace and create a new Ti99 board like the C64 Reloaded board? Possibly modernizing the power supply, video output (f18a) and plugs for mods like the overclock mod.

Never heard of either game, I'll look into them. I enjoy programming games of logic & luck.
speaking of card games, I working on Mille-Bournes card game. It's another translation from a Atari 800 game I did years ago.
When I get time I'll have to read the wiki, the rules seem pretty deep. Might also get me into a wiki-hole of card games.

Kinda off topic, but i can't see starting a thread for it:
Was a Skipbo game ever made for the 99?
While i'm at it: How about DOS, the "sequel" to UNO?
I never knew there was a sequel, love that it's called DOS I'll have to check it out.

Was there ever a version of UNO made for the 99? UNO is one of my favorite card games and really would love to play it on the 99.

Is it possible to do a kickstarter or indiegogo for the old style F18A's while the new models are getting the kinks worked out? Many of us are biting at the bit to get our hands on either one.

Yup Linux Mint 18.3 with Cinnamon Desktop, now with steam and many games coming to linux I haven't touched windows in years.
I don't emulate computers it's to much of a hassle sometimes, I'd rather use the real hardware if possible.

They said it was Ubuntu kernel 4.1.0 and they keep talking about the "unique developer and community freedom" aspect of it. So you should be able to sideload apps ... so long as you keep in mind that not everything is going to have controller support, and that there's only 32GB of space in the onboard storage device ... and of course, that you'll be on your own when doing so. I seem to have read at least a few comments from people approaching this is My First Linux Box, which may not go well for them, but they can discover that on their own.
"Access the Linux Sandbox, add more storage via cloud or USB, run multiple operating systems at once, load Homebrew games or customize your own unique platform."
I'm curious if they're going to lock down the boot volume. Sony makes it possible to create a restore device for PS4 if you swap out the hard drive. Since the proposed VCS hardware is so generic, it seems like it would be trivial to extract the OS and run it elsewhere. Maybe Atari will encrypt it. A good test of its real popularity would be if anyone bothers to decrypt it.
If you're waiting for AtariBox or interested in what this thing will be able to do ... you could just install Lakka on something you already have (Pi or PC) ... booting from the Lakka device will give you the ability to run lots of old games with RetroArch. Skip the middleman, do it yourself.
I really was down for this system as a linux user/gamer I see the potential but even on the linux gaming reddit we are sadden by the hardware and kernel. Then UDOO dropped there kickstarter for a super small board with AMD Ryzen V1000 and choice of Vega 3 or 8 GPU! VCS has a nicer case but the UDOO board is packing some serious hardware plus UDOO has be around and making SBC's for a while now so no fear of not getting what they promised.

Will do thanksSend me a message (the "contact" form on my website (http://codehackcreate.com/contact-us) is a good way to do that) with your name and email and I will put you on the contact list. Making another batch of boards is driven by demand (I just ran out of boards last week.)

A bit off topic but when are the F18A's gonna be back in stock? I've been itching to get one for my Ti.

so it can receive a rgb signal just not composite one, gotcha.

I have a SC1224 laying around that I wanted to use as a simple monitor for my Ti99 and gaming consoles. I made a simple cable to go out to composite and audio using the diagram on this page. http://jlgconsult.pagesperso-orange.fr/Atari/interfaces/interfaces_en.htm#Atari_Monitor_Connector
But I don't get any picture just a black screen, are there other pins I need to connect so it switches to composite mode?

Are these still being made? If not is there somewhere to get one?

The Nano PEB from my understanding is not compatible with any of the Retro Communications programs we use. (Except for Stuarts Internet Browser) Unless I have been mis-informed.
Yes, I believe it might just be the web browser. I think it's time for a thread about just getting the Ti online to clear up any confusion.
-
I believe it all has to do with how easily someone can get the Ti online. If someone could make a simple rs232 side cart or if the nano peb never goes out of production. It'll allow the common man the ability to get their BBS on. :-)
-
Very cool, just signed up from my linux terminal till I get my Ti online.
-
This is great! Not many audio programs for the Ti. I'm still hoping for someone someday to create a midi cart that would allow me to control my Ti's chip with a external sequencer. Like some synth carts let you on the C64.

Gonna read through these before I post them for sale with my other Ti99 stuff. Crazy to think the first issue is from 1984 the year I was born.
