🖥 FlashROM 99 & FinalGROM 99 - Repository
dphirschler replied to arcadeshopper's topic in TI-99/4A Computers
Here are some more carts for the flashrom. Jumpy is one of my favorites! These do not require 32K RAM. jumpy.bin king.bin "King of Castle" videovegas.bin starwars.bin Darryl -
Who made Joust? Atarisoft? Man, that'd be something! But I don't believe I have that. Darryl
-
Wow! I had no idea. I wonder what else I have buried in my archives? Darryl
-
I have these files, but I haven't tried them. TUTANKAM.DSK TUTANKHAMC.bin TUTANKHAMG.bin I hope they are useful. Darryl

Easy to swap out the sound chip. I had to do that once. The TI had similar symptoms. Darryl

What is needed for a 32K RAM upgrade for the TI?
dphirschler replied to cbmeeks's topic in TI-99/4A Computers
Questions: 1. How does the RAM upgrade work with the NanoPEB? 2. Does it really just behave like the 32K expansion card in a PEB? 3. Does it ever need to be switched off? Darryl -
So sad about Craig Miller. He was a legend in the TI world and, even though I never met him, somehow a big part of my childhood (well, teenage years at least). Darryl

This looks like a QI console and it has a 1981 firmware in it, if anybody wants to go for it. I have one already or I'd get it myself. No telling if it has a Mitsumi keyboard though. Chances are though, if it had a Mitsumi keyboard, they would have said the keyboard doesn't work. So strong likelyhood that it's a good keyboard too. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Texas-Instruments-Home-Computer-TI-99-4A-w-BOX-Tested-Good-Shape-/272277891421?hash=item3f6506e95d:g:X~4AAOSwzJ5XZNFu Darryl

Has an 80 column version of Adventure been made yet? Is it even possible? Darryl

Is that gravity holding it in there? Darryl

Who wants to go in with me to get a purple v2 board? I only want one... maybe two. Darryl
-
I think I made a thread about the LED mod. Here--> http://atariage.com/forums/topic/228592-beige-console-power-led-mod/ Darryl

I would like to know when the next OSHpark order for v2 boards is going to happen. I would like to go in with you and get a couple boards. Also I'd like to know if the parts list changed. I believe I downloaded it when it was posted last time. I am going to try my hand at building my own this time. But I would like the purple boards. :-) Darryl

I have one of these 1981 QI consoles. I believe OLD_CS1 has one too. I consider myself lucky to have my QI console. It is also unusual because the normal blue stripe on the power switch is red on mine. Darryl

FlashROM99 - What kind of compilation(s) do you plan to make?
dphirschler replied to Omega-TI's topic in TI-99/4A Computers
The very nature of this flashcart makes it easy to just willy nilly make any compilation (or single cart) you want, when you want. So if anything, having this cart has motivated me to make a few eprom multi carts. Those I can take the time to make masterpieces. The rest, I can put on the flashcart whenever I want with ease. So the first one I will make is the Atarisoft cart. Darryl -
Anybody had an actual guide to loading the cassette adventures from their phone (or other device)? I keep getting "No such device" in Adventure when I type CS1. Darryl
-
Here was the adventure disk I used back in the day. It even loads from XB (so you don't need the Adventure cart). But you do need a disk drive (or have nanoPEB emulate one). ADVENTUR.DSK Darryl
-
You need either the cassette or the diskette to play each Adventure game. You also need either a cassette or a diskette to save your game on. I have good quality wavs of the Adventure games so you could make your own cassettes, or load them off your phone or something. Darryl
-
If you produce any, please put me down for one! two actually. Darryl

Anybody are to make a plaster mold of a Romox cart? Darryl

Repaired. :-) Thanks for solving the issue so quickly. Darryl

🖥 FlashROM 99 & FinalGROM 99 - Repository
dphirschler replied to arcadeshopper's topic in TI-99/4A Computers
I want to thank whoever put Arcturus in the whtech bin repository. I'd tried version after version only NOT to hear the music I remember. I was starting to think my memory was wrong. Finally, this one had the correct music! And why did I see "Tursi" on the title screen? Is this our Tursi? Darryl -
Tursi, PM sent. Darryl
-
I have wanted one for a while now, but cannot make my own boards. I am getting better at soldering though... Will you make a kit? Darryl
-
Are we talking about fitting the nanoPEB inside a 3" project case from Radio Shack? Oh, I see iKarith's response. I'd love to see the nanoPEB modified to use SD cards. Is that possible? Darryl
