  1. This IS the never released Parker Brothers Protoype version from 1983. It was never released in cartridge format because of the Home Computer crash.

No dump was known to be available til your post yesterday afaik. One prototype card was known to be in somebody hands.

Many thanks for sharing this piece of programming art!

Maybe it was shared with Texas Instruments during development and it ended up on a Grom Simulator Disk like that.

Whoever to thank you, THANK YOU!

Wow! I had no idea. I wonder what else I have buried in my archives?

  2. This looks like a QI console and it has a 1981 firmware in it, if anybody wants to go for it. I have one already or I'd get it myself. No telling if it has a Mitsumi keyboard though. Chances are though, if it had a Mitsumi keyboard, they would have said the keyboard doesn't work. So strong likelyhood that it's a good keyboard too.

  3. I would like to know when the next OSHpark order for v2 boards is going to happen. I would like to go in with you and get a couple boards. Also I'd like to know if the parts list changed. I believe I downloaded it when it was posted last time. I am going to try my hand at building my own this time. But I would like the purple boards. :-)

  4. There are two type of QI. V2.2 from 1983 cannot operate the 3rd party cartridges

QI with 1981 is. Can do all. Inside hardware is different a D recognizably at the

Side port with silver springs and are beige TI.

There should be table somewhere last time we sorted it out.

I have one of these 1981 QI consoles. I believe OLD_CS1 has one too. I consider myself lucky to have my QI console. It is also unusual because the normal blue stripe on the power switch is red on mine.

  5. The very nature of this flashcart makes it easy to just willy nilly make any compilation (or single cart) you want, when you want. So if anything, having this cart has motivated me to make a few eprom multi carts. Those I can take the time to make masterpieces. The rest, I can put on the flashcart whenever I want with ease.

So the first one I will make is the Atarisoft cart.

  6. You need either the cassette or the diskette to play each Adventure game. You also need either a cassette or a diskette to save your game on. I have good quality wavs of the Adventure games so you could make your own cassettes, or load them off your phone or something.

  7. I'm actually working on that. . .though I use urethane rubber, not plaster. It is one the type of projects I reserve for the summer time, as the weather is hot enough to make my casting apparatus work very well.

If you produce any, please put me down for one! two actually.

  8. My PS/2 keyboard adapter doesn't count anymore? :)

All I have off that list is the F18A. :)

I have wanted one for a while now, but cannot make my own boards. I am getting better at soldering though... Will you make a kit?
