  1. So I got a Lynx II after growing up having the original. The one I bought had a pixelation issue on the right 1/3 of the screen where the colors were off and faded. I was aware of it and It wasn't a big problem. I wanted to try and fix it since I've fixed systems before. I opened it up, detached the ribbon cables, cleaned the contacts with isopropyl alcohol(the smaller one was very dirty), waited 24 hours and put it back together. The screen issue didn't change but now up and down on the directional pad does not work. However left and right work fine. Also, the outer case doesn't fit together right. It seems the battery compartment is pushing inward and pushing the casing apart even though everything is lined up. Does anybody know what could be wrong. My only guess would be the ribbon cables are damaged and/or the LCD screen is on its way out.
