Everyone talks about the original Zelda on the Nes but what About Golden Axe Warrior on the Master System?.I mean This game does nearly everything the original Zelda does better going off pure mechanics, it's a bigger game and it has things the original Zelda lacks that further pushes it ahead not to mention the better graphics and sound

  1. It's expensive, 2. It wasn't forgotten. The PS3 3D Dot Game Heroes pays much homage to it, and 3) It never spawned a sequel, and by the Saturn the Golden Axe franchise was dead. Also, what Reaperman said. I have it, and I'm glad I got it before the major price rise!
