  1. I was bidding on a comic book on Ebay some minutes ago and during the last 1 minute of the auction there was 1 bidder and the price was currently $1. In the last 10 seconds of the auction I bidded $1.04 and the auction ended it said I lost and when I went to see the winning price it was the exact price that I bidded. How is this possible?

      thats not always true the first bid could be $1.04, it would show as 99 cents then when you entered $1.04 his auto bid would match yours and he placed it first when he originally bid.

      Here's a better explanation. Pretend I bid $5 for the comic you wanted. Since I was the first bidder, the bid goes in at $1. If you bid $2, the current bid would be like $2.25 or whatever increment Ebay would place on it and it would still be mine since my bid of $5 is still higher than yours. If you then bid $5 exactly as your bid with the 10 seconds left, the winning bid will go to me, since I bid $5 before you did. If you had bid $5.01, the winni...
