Try to find a lot on ebay for 150-ish with games and accessories. That is a fair price but if you are lucky or live in a big area where there are ample opportunities for game hunting you can probably get a loose system for 80-100. I got mine at an antiques shop for 100 with several games, a jag games strategy guide and multi-tap. With the advent of the gaming community, especially on youtube demand is high for retro games and consoles. My favorite system is the super nintendo and games are so expensive i have to stop collecting. Makes me wish I had kept all my stuff from when I was younger. I foolishly sold everything but recently got caught up in collecting again because I would rather play good retro games than the stuff they have coming out now. I live in a very small town so I don't have access to flea markets or used game shops

Some RPGs would have been cool. I don't really know much about the Jag CD library so maybe they have something like that but I love a good old fashioned turn based or action RPG.

I got Val d'Esierre, Troy Aikman Football, Raiden, Fight for Life, Dragon:The Bruce Lee Story, Cybermorph, Iron Soldier, Syndicate, Brutal Sports Football, Wolfenstein 3d, and White Men Can't Jump. All of them have boxes (even though they aren't in the best condition) except WMCJ and Cybermorph. I also got 2 controllers and the official strategy guide for $100. I really can't complain, it was an early b-day gift

After playing obsessively I figured out it's one of those that you can only have 1 save file - if you want a new game you have to start from the beginning and finish the first four levels and it gives you the option to save over previous data. I feel dumb

I just got my Jag a few days ago. Never owned one but got it as an early birthday present with 11 games. Fight for Life is just terrible, I think it is one of th worst games I have ever played. I popped in WMCJ a little bit ago and I don't think it's as bad as everyone says if I can figure out the controls a little better I might just play it.

I just read on GameFAQs that you can't cycle through weapons in beginning of Wolfenstein which it didn't mention in my strategy guide so maybe my controller isn't broken I feel kinda dumb but you think they would mention that hehe. Well anyway I look forward to reading more posts on the forum and I will post again later if I have anything else Atari related. I guess you guys would be the ones to ask!

Hi this is my first post and I am new to Jaguar and Atari in general. Admittedly I am a bit of a Nintendo fangirl but I've crossed to the darkside Anyway, I just picked up a Jaguar with 2 conrollers, a multitap, about 11 games and strategy guide. Here is the issue I am having. The "Option" button does not work when I play some games. I have tried both controllers. However it worked just fine when I played Brutal League Football and Cybermorph.(Games that both use the option button.) However the guide says on Wolfenstein 3D that the option button is used to toggle weapons and I have pressed every button on the controller but I can't change weapons. I also tried Raiden - supposedly the Option button is used to bring up an options menu but this does not work. So my question is, is there a problem with the controllers, the games or the controller port on the console? I have not had this problem with any other system and I don't understand why it works just fine on some games but not on others like Wolfenstein (which I really want to play!) Any help would be appreciated. I don't want to have to buy a replacement console but the box of games- many of which are boxed is too enticing and I want to play this awesome system. I already cleaned the pins on the controllers and cleaned the inside of the system so I don't see what the problem is.
