So I'm looking into putting lights behind the marquee glass of this atari computer store cabinet like it originally had. I'm trying to figure out if the lights originally came through the back where the two holes are (see pics) or if they came through the top 3 holes. I was wondering if those 3 holes were for ventilation. Any ideas?

So I was lucky enough to find anew atari computer store display cabinet but the top marquee is missing. Anyone have any suggestions on how to replace this?

So a while back I installed an AV on my colecovision. Recently I started getting a green screen sometime accompanied by a tone of some sort. Usually the games play but in that green shaded screen. If I loosen the casing it would go away. Not sure what the issue is. I rechecked all the soldering points and everything is secure. Any idea what the issue is?

So I finally got my apple II+ working along with the monotor and disk drive. I booted up a game and played it for about 5 minutes but then I heard a popping soundo from the console. I powered off the machine and took off the lid. There was some smoke coming from the power supply. I've heard that issues with the Apple II power supply were common so I wasn't too surprised considering the unit had been sitting for 30 years. But I waited a little while and turned the unit back on. It turned on just fine and no more noises or smoking. Why is this? Did I just blow a capacitor? Is this safe to use?

That's the problem. There's so much stuff. I've got a basement full of educational stuff, and teaching aids for software that I'm not sure what to make of it all.

So I recently found a lot on craigslist. I've been looking for an apple II to add to my collection and this lot had that and more. After coming to an agreement on price I met with the woman to pick up everything. When I did I was blown away by how much was actually in the lot. She explained to me that she used to work at Apple and, without giving her name and actual title, I will say that she was high up in the education division at apple. She also had a big hand in the EWorld network that apple tried to get off the ground to compete with AOL. So I'm not quite sure if I've got something really good in this lot. Here is just a small list of some of the things in the lot: Apple II+ with monitor and disk drive (all work fine) Apple II GS complete setup with 3.5" and 5.25" disk drives (boots up but have not tested the drives Mac SE setup in an official apple Mac carrying bag (boots up) Hundreds of boxed software titles from games to Office programs to educational tiles. tons of sealed titles Lots of sealed titles labeled DEMO, NOT FOR RESALE, and EVALUATION COPY ONLY (games, educational titles, and office software - inlucded a sealed "Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego?" labled as a Review Copy) Apple promotional items like pins, bumper stickers, water bottles, mugs still sealed in the packaging Apple computer club shirts Apple eworld shirts Apple Employee convention lanyards Apple Employee Christmas cards and gifts Mission Impossible/Apple cross promotional posters (huge posters) Disks sealed in envelope withe "REVIEW ONLY" stickers on it (Apple system update disks for employees I believe) There were a lot of items labeled as DEMO and such because companies would send her software for her to review for Apple to give the Ok. Much of the copies here are not opened and still sealed. What's really cool to me is that I grew up using an apple II and IIGS at school. Because of her position, the computers she gave me were the ones she personally used to for work. So to think that the computers I just got had a hand in the development and review of the software I used as a kid is just really great. I paid $200 for everything. I'm just not sure if all the demo sealed items (also some not sealed) are anything special or if they are common enough. And I don't know much about the promotional items, whether they are particularly collectible or not. I will upload pictures as well bit by bit. (my computer is giving me issues with this)

Hello, I've collected atari 8 bit computers up to the XL line but I'm kind of new to anything after that. I have an opportunity to buy an atari Mega ST2 with the keyboard and mouse (no monitor). Are these hard to find at all. I couldn't really find much on them.

It's an Entex Select-a-game. And that's a pac man arcade marquee next to it.

The Zaxxon, DK and DKjr boxes are for the cassette games for the Adam computer. The shelves are just media shelves from walmart. I had to buy an extra one to get more shelves in order to space them apart for the 2600 carts.

Here are some updated pics of my game room

I'm looking for a coleco kidvid voice module. I have the cord that connects it to an atari so I don't need it. So if someone has just the cassette deck with the power cord, I'm open to trade or buy.

Do you have any pics of it?

I love to collect "oddities" for the atari vcs and I've been looking for the gameline module for a while now. If anyone else has one they would like to sell or trade, let me know.

So I bought a vectrex store display kiosk but the damn thing smells so badly of smoke it's nauseating. I tried cleaning it gently with baking soda and water and I just kept getting piece after piece of dark brown stained paper towel coming back as I wiped it. It was disgusting and it still smells. I'm concerned about it making the rest of the things in my game room stink. Anyone have any suggestions?

I'm trying to get some information on the colecovision games released by telegames. We're those games released in the UK only or were they also released in the US?

I'm looking for a colecovision super sketch. It doesn't have to be in the box

So I picked up a Commodore PET 4032 model a while back but it had no power adaptor. How hard is it to fund one of these (i imagine they're not too common) or do I have any other options?
-
Yeah, the games I got were the data cassettes. They are in the boxes made to look like the arcade marquees

What games are particularly rare to find for the Adam computer? I was able to get a lot a while back that had boxed donkey kong, zaxxon, donkey Kong jr, dragons lair, and choplifter.

It's not too hard to amass a sizeable collection of 2600 games as the majority of them are fairly common. However since atari, and in some instances, other companies, tended to re-release their games with new labels or even a different name all together. For instance, almost all the Sears Telegames titles are renamed atari original games. To collect 350 DIFFERENT 2600 games is somewhat harder. To get to that point you're going to have to pick some R8 and R9 titles.

Yeah, that's how I'm doing it but it's not attaching to the post. I've tried from different devices and computers. Doesn't work
