  1. I just picked up the Commodore PET and an Educator 64. I tried to upload photos but it never seems to work and I've tried from different phones and my computer.
  2. Is a non working commodore PET worth anything? What about an Educator 64? I have an opportunity to buy each for $25. I'm not terribly concerned with getting them working again. I'm more interested in them for their relevance to computing history.
  3. No, they all came from the same collection. They're as mint as I've ever seen.
  4. While I have some experts here, is $400 a good deal for learning fun 1, dig dug, and thunder castle all CIB?
  5. I'm close to making a deal on learning fun 1, dig dug, and thunder castle all CIB.
  6. I think I'm just going to stick with original releases when factoring in whether my collection is "complete". I mean, I'd love to grabe some homebrew but I'm going to try and save my money for some of the expensive original releases. SPIKER isn't going to be cheap!
  7. Does that count the Sears games? Are those just considered label variations?
  8. I'm going for a complete in box Intellivision collection. I stand at about 105 now but I'm trying to figure out exactly how many releases there were. I've heard 135 to 155. Does anyone know if that includes the Sears releases or not? I'm assuming the box variations for a few of the common titles don't count. Anyone have an idea of anew accurate figure I can go by?
  9. I have one of each that had a US release. Sunnyvale heavy sixer Light sixer 4 switch woody Sears heavy sixer Sears light sixer Sears 4 switch woody Black Vader 4 switch Junior short rainbow Junior long rainbow Sears video arcade 2 Promotional use only 4 switch Unofficial releases I have: Columbia home arcade Coleco gemini And, of course, I have a 7800 and the colecovision expansion module 1, if that counts. I'd love to get the atari 2800, the PAL Junior that has the built in games, and the black Irish junior.
  10. A dealer I often buy from is selling a sealed dice puzzle. He wants $200 and he's been really good with his prices in the past but that just seems a little high. I know dice puzzle is "rare" but it doesn't seem to THAT rare. Am I being cheap or is this something I should jump on? Looking for some advice. Thanks
  11. There is a store in the northern part of MA that had a 4 switch woody for $129. Said it was worth that because it was tested and cleaned. I told him that was nice but I had bought mine at a yard sale, covered in rat crap, cleaned it, and it worked fine...for $5. They routinely price games with eBay prices (not the sold listing, but what they're listed for...*sigh) if not higher. They're excuse is that you can return the game if it doesn't work. Question though. What is up with the $800 price tags on the promotional use only Atari on ebay lately? I doubt they're that rare since there always seems to be at least 2 up for sale. I bought mine CIB for $25.
  12. How hard to find are games for the Adam computer? I don't see too many pop up on ebay but when they do, I never see them go for a terribly high price. Occasionally I see donkey kong but others such as dkjr, zaxxon, and dragons lair I never see.
  13. Looking at the pictures, it appears that the lable on the front door is damaged/peeling in the corner. Might just be best to save my money for a real arcade cab or Mame.
  14. Wow...I didn't realize it was that small!! Holy crap. Well thanks for saving me the trip down to look at it, lol.
  15. Thanks. Yeah, those are the complaints I've mostly heard about it. If it's cheap enough I may get it, and I agree on the price.
  16. I've been collecting vintage games for years but I've never bought an arcade cabinet before. I have an opportunity to buy a midway 12 in 1 from someone local to me. I understand it's not a real arcade machine but I'm considering it because I have a smaller budget to Mork with and limited space in my game room. They are asking $150. Is this thing even worth my time? I've heard good and bad about it.
  17. What I'm Buying Is A Tall Cabinet with locking glass Doors
  18. Does anyone have an idea of the value of an Atari home computer display cabinet? I have the opportunity to buy one. The only defect appears to be that the "marquee" glass at the top that says Atari and is back lit, is missing. I'm not sure if I can have a replacement fabricated or not. Im just not sure what to put on it as far as value goes.
  19. Figured this might be a fun topic. What's the weirdest console or computer peripheral in your collection? Pics!
  20. Oh geez, that's what I meant. Sorry, wrong company.
  21. So recently I fired up my 3 Adam Disk drives. 2 powered on but I could hear they weren't reading the disks. The third, the one I have in the original box, worked perfectly and I was able to boot up all kinds of games I had on floppys...as backups of course... Anyway, does anyone know if it is possible to fix the disk drives or once they get to this point, are they just dead? If they're dead, are they still worth anything or are they just big paperweights?
  22. I can never seem to upload photos to this site. Both my phone and computer seen to have troubles. But if you Google game selex, pics come up.
  23. I recently aquire a game selex. Ive seen other models from other companies that do the same thing (has multiple cartridge banks and allows you to switch from one game to another without removing the carts). Does anyone know how many different versions of this kind of peripheral there are? I'd love to start collecting them!
  24. Just got one myself. Had the y cable but no power supply Serial #1272
