1. I'm sure they aren't telling you that for your own good.

Basic is a great place to start for a new programmer, as a programmer myself, I'd never recommend assembler to a beginner.

Raptor Basic still has some advanced elements (compared to normal basic) due to the nature of the old hardware but you would have a much clearer understanding of what's going on by using it.

Well Thanks for the recommendation dude :)

  2. Hey guys,

Back with NeoHomeBrew doing his up-to-date video regarding his homebrew title for the Neo-Geo, Hypernoid. Let's see whats he been up to.

    From the description,

"all game objects now have a shadow to obtain a better 3D look

    - two new backgrounds and palette swaps (matching to the boss colors)- new continue, game over and game finished screens"

  4. Recently i been interested in programming for the Jaguar, i have various ideas for games that i want to get out of my head, i've been thinking that doing mock-up boxes is not really a way to cotribute the community, this question is for the homebrew devs, what's the best program to develop games for the system? Thanks 1f642.png

  5.

Do people really think they can act one way somewhere, and then totally different elsewhere and others will not notice? Are people really that dumb?

For a start the ports are not released by Reboot. Do you see them anywhere on the Reboot page? Have you ever seen Reboot anywhere in any of the ROM files? And secondly, those "lovely" people at (not) Reboot need not have even released these roms and binaries at all, in which case you wouldn't have had to make your "lovely" covers for them, put them on your shelf, or be able to play them.

Think about how your actions and words make you look before engaging your fingers on a keyboard.

    Meh...
