Well Thanks for the recommendation dudeI'm sure they aren't telling you that for your own good.
Basic is a great place to start for a new programmer, as a programmer myself, I'd never recommend assembler to a beginner.
Raptor Basic still has some advanced elements (compared to normal basic) due to the nature of the old hardware but you would have a much clearer understanding of what's going on by using it.

No i haven't done any before.Have you done any coding before? If not, don't start with assembler.
Yeah, guess i should do that.Maybe compare the games they'e made against what's been made with RAPTOR API and rB+ before listening to any advice?

I never though that SNK had an unreleased system...(NOTE: the sketch in the video is a artist's impression)

Did you guys know that this Commodore Amiga game was developed by avid SFII and Neo Geo fans?

A friend of mine here in Venezuela told me that he knew the name of that unreleased fighting game, since he saw it in a magazine and he was dead-on point. It's called Dragon's Heaven,Co-developed by Technos Japan and FACE. Looks good but too bad it was never released, but this give us hope for more unreleased Neo Geo games to be unearthed.

That homebrew looks great,is there any more homebrews in development for the system?Hey guys,
Back with NeoHomeBrew doing his up-to-date video regarding his homebrew title for the Neo-Geo, Hypernoid. Let's see whats he been up to.
From the description,
"all game objects now have a shadow to obtain a better 3D look
- two new backgrounds and palette swaps (matching to the boss colors)- new continue, game over and game finished screens"

I can make a movelist, if the guys want.
Nick, will you release the new rom at some point?

Maybe not related to the Neo Geo but this involves Ex-devs from SNK who worked on Kizuna Encounter and some of the later KOF games on the system. It's a New fighting game for the SNES set to be released in 2017 on a 32MB cart.

Recently i been interested in programming for the Jaguar, i have various ideas for games that i want to get out of my head, i've been thinking that doing mock-up boxes is not really a way to cotribute the community, this question is for the homebrew devs, what's the best program to develop games for the system? Thanks

Do people really think they can act one way somewhere, and then totally different elsewhere and others will not notice? Are people really that dumb?
For a start the ports are not released by Reboot. Do you see them anywhere on the Reboot page? Have you ever seen Reboot anywhere in any of the ROM files? And secondly, those "lovely" people at (not) Reboot need not have even released these roms and binaries at all, in which case you wouldn't have had to make your "lovely" covers for them, put them on your shelf, or be able to play them.
Think about how your actions and words make you look before engaging your fingers on a keyboard.
Meh...

Those look "lovely" - keyword being "lovely"
the sense of sarcasm is strong with this comment.
