Shinobi is a great 8-bit port.

Fantasy Zone I & II are both fun arcade shooters.

I haven't played it in 30 years, but I remember really liking Enduro Racer back in the day. Wish I still had that one.

There are a bunch of fantastic light gun games as well: Wanted, Rescue Mission, Operation Wolf, etc.

Does operation wolf play properly on an ntsc console?  Heard it does but don’t have first hand experience.

Yeah, my last protectors were from retroprotection on eBay and they fit all the homebrews just fine, these others I got from keep_em_minty on eBay fit pretty snug on the retail games and won't fit the homebrews without force, and that's.. like.. the opposite of why you'd wanna use protection.

Need another batch of the larger protectors that will fit the port boxes. Anyone have a link that they know will fit?

  3. Looking at the first post, there’s only about 12 ports that haven’t made it to cart yet, and half are incomplete.  I know there’s been some recent additions in the last few pages of comments, (beast busters, tennis, thundercats, etc).  There’s been a lot of ports and it’s always exciting for new cart batches every few months and learnin what they will be.  Thanks again CJ and Gaztee.

Did you mean CD-i? I don't believe the 3DO required it for any game. As well, it was not Japanese movies but a format that was more popular IN Japan then anywhere else, there still Hollywood and releases outside of Japan. I even recall back in the day here in CANADA seeing a VCD playing on a Commodore CD32 console which also required an add-on video Module, it was playing  Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, I thought it was amazing seeing a movie playing off an optical disc even if the quality was not much better than VHS. Strangely, there was disputes between Commodore and Philips about the licensing of the Video Module, unofficially they were not compatible but you could in fact play VCD's, including Philips own on the CD32 with Video Module.

Anyway, bottom line, don't worry about a video module for the 3DO but definitely get one for the CD-i. As to which ones, well the model of CD-i you have will determine the module you need.

No, I meant 3do. Wanted to know if ANY game worth owning needed it but it seems no game actually needs it.  For cdi, most of what I tried in my collection required the digital video cartridge. This is the one I have.
