This lid has issues but if you leave it open, it's not a problem. CPU fan makes noise but the laptop works well.

If the LCD is a TV, using the LCD menu's, it may be possible to select a different screen size or resolution. Stepping through the video modes on the LCD menu could help. Just a thought. Have a great day.
