    I was clear that it was not out until someone posted that they had one without mentioning it was a pre release.

    I do not think a big company is behind this. Why would I think that.

    Cause God forbid that a beta tester gives you feedback on something instead of having to spend your money blindly. :ponder:

    The update was nice but I think the rule is if you have something other can't yet get you should not use the words be patient and you didn't mention the fact you have a prototype and people got excited me included . With that being said its not a big deal, I was just giving you a hard time. I am probably still bitter from when the youtubers where going on about how awesome the rift was and I had just gotten an email that mine would be delayed 2 months.

    If you are looking for homebrews then check out the Pac-Man Collection or beef drop (my favorite) . Its in the store link at the top as well as others. If you are looking to hack the 7800 . well think apple but even harder :rolling: . Serious though there is an s-video mod. There is a sega controller to 7800 adapter.. There is no sd solution yet though and don't ask about the XM. That about sums it up I think. Lots of projects on the horizon. oh there is a sound thing that plugs into the second controller port and some homebrews support it. whats the name ahh can't remember but its in the store .. it also saves high scores. The community here I find to be super helpful

    You can tell how impatient I am, because I can easily figure this out when I get my package but...what size bit did you use for the hole?

     

    Oh an, apparently I need a hot glue gun. I was going to superglue the thing but I learned on one of my previous projects, hot glue is kind of temporary, super glue is forever.....

    I used super glue (does that not last?) . Also I think the bit I used was 15/64 .

    ok let me be the noob and ask for clarification. So this is the board inside a cartridge that has been replicated with enhancements. It supports 2 games. Do I do something like download the rom and burn it to a chip and solder it to the board, or do I take it out of an existing game, or do you provide it. Em I am completely wrong and you simply hang this from a necklace and look bad a$$ at those geek conventions ;-) . Pal and NTSC have nothing to do with this right? I have more dumb questions I just don't want to overwhelm everyone.

     

    my confusion comes from the comment "First as a replacement for any of the two games" then later on everyone keeps mentioning Rampage + Double Dragon

     

    also the comment "So you managed to reverse engineer the content of the Activision PAL?" so is this for Activision only and pal only?

    So are we saying that the Beef Drop VE edition, sold here, would use the pokey chip in the xm unit when it is released? On a side note: I would be interested as well in the Beef Drop version with Pokey if anyone does a run.
