  1. This week I did something I always thought that, as an advid cartridge collector, I would never do: I started buying flashcarts for all my cartridge based systems. I'm pretty sure that Keatah just won a bet with someone.

      A small one yup! Flashcarts need love too! They deserve to be part of a collection. They allow a collection to remain pristine and/or in storage. They allow one to downsize and keep only favorites. They increase your collection count +1.

      That they do. =) For me the biggest selling point was cost. I looked over my "Want to buy" list of games for cartridge based systems, adding up the cost, and realized that it totaled about $6,000. I can get flashcarts to play all of those games for about 1/20th of that, and play some great new homebrews that were never released on physical carts to with them too.
