  1. I just beat Mortal Kombat on the Game Boy and I feel like I should put this game on my "Shame List". Not because I haven't played it, but because I have played it.

      I never played any of the GB versions, but I still think the Game Gear versions are so tight. The GG versions are Colourized GB versions AFAIK so they should be tight too.

      The Game Gear version of Mortal Kombat is a whole different (and thankfully much better, since it was essentially the Master System version) port of Mortal Kombat than the Game Boy one. The real problem with the Game Boy version is that it suffers from horrible input lag and a frame rate so slow that it's like playing MK in a pool of molasses, outside in January.

      On the flip side of things, Mortal Kombat II on the Game Boy was fantastic and is still my favorite handheld fighting game to this day. It's an absolutely night and day difference between the first and second game on the Game Boy, with the second game having none of the problems of the original. =)
