Also, good call on getting a 2600 adapter to use a trackball with your Porta Pi. It's neat that they're offering a trackball option for those cool little cabs now, but it does seem a bit bizzare that they stuck the trackball in the center of the control panel for left handed use.

They have a mouse encoder crammed into the control panel anyway. The 2600-daptor II should work the same.

      To do list:

      1) Download the latest R-Pi3 image: done.

      2) Get R-Pi3...

      3) Get a 2600-daptor II (I was stupid a couple years back and cheaped out on the old version)

      4) Install the image onto 32Mbyte MicroSD. (easy)

      5) Install Raspbian on the Pi. (I cannot do command line so the GUI Linux interface is mandatory if I expect to tweak the files)

      6) Sync...

      6) Sync MAME ROMs. (I have a MAME4ALL ISO with all 2271 ROMs on it).

      7) Get WAV samples working. (It was a pain to fix them set up the first go round, but should be easier now).

      8) Back up my tweaked Porta-Pi MAME image for future use in case I need it again.

      9) Enjoy! B-)
