  1. It seems like the green and black screen of the original Game Boy is something that you really had to grow up with to enjoy. Is there anyone who didn't own the original Game Boy back in the day who actually likes the screen on it?

      I don't mind it too much, the only real complaint I have is that you need a light but I remember having a cheap worm light for my GBA when that was thing that barely worked so it's not like I can't deal with it.

      You have to have the eyes of Superman to play GBA without a light. I remember the original GB having a brighter screen than the GBA. Sure it was a simple screen with one color but it was all we had then for a cartridge based system.

      I really like it myself, though the Game Boy was the first game system that I owned and the computer that my family had when I was growing up was an IBM PC XT with a green and black monochrome monitor. So all the games that I grew up playing during my earliest years had green and black monochrome visuals, and I have a lot of nostalgia for that color scheme.
