  1. I think the best thing about the 8-bit and 16-bit eras of gaming was that game developers and publishers were willing to take chances and try anything. You just don't see that kind of wild creativity anymore.

      Don't forget ROM space was at premium back then. Developers only focused on good stuff and not load it with useless crap only to make the game last 20 or 30 hours longer.
