  1. For some odd reason I'm really fascinated by 8-bit computers. I've never owned one and probably never will due to self-imposed collecting restrictions, but I still like watching videos and reading up on the A8s, C64, and TI-99/4A. I guess you could say they're an interest but not a hobby.

I have been doing a bit of A8 emulation lately on the Wii, but haven't gotten any hands-on time with any other 8-bit computer software yet. I will say though that anyone with a broad interest in classic computers should definitely check out this YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/tezzaNZ It's absolutely overflowing with great information on and overviews of most of the popular home computers from the 1970's and 1980's.

@simbalion: *Whispers back* I'm partial to the IIGS myself, but the IIe really does have a wonderful aesthetic quality.

I loved my C64... even used it to write print all my college papers with it... Speedscipt for the win! The Wii is an amazing piece of hardware for emulation. So cool to play 8bit games with wireless controllers. Although, I kind of wish the C64 emulator on the Wii had a more intuitive interface. I still own an Atari 800XL too. Nice piece of hardware.
