Well, after putting it off for 8 years due to a lifelong phobia of dentists I finally summoned my courage and had oral surgery to get 15 teeth pulled today. My mouth looks like something out of Silent Hill now and I'll have to get dentures after everything is healed, but man am ever glad that it's finally over.

  That sucks! I had 6 teeth surgically removed awhile ago. 4 wisdom and 2 molars. Be careful of Dry Socket!

  Believe me, I will! I am about a pack a day smoker but I'm going to try to not smoke any more than once every 6 hours or so for the next few days to reduce the risk of dry socket. I got dry socket once when I had my wisdom teeth out 12 years or so ago and it's not an experience that I wish to repeat.
