  1. I've always wondered why it is that almost every game I've ever played on the NES (aside from Kirby) is ridiculously difficult. I can't think of any other system where almost every well regarded game is crazy hard, but it certainly seems true for the NES.

      Funny. I though most of NES games were just right and today's game were stupidly easy. Guess I grew up used to "hard" stuff of the era.

      Maybe it does have a lot to do with what you grew up with. I grew up with a ColecoVision with an Atari 2600 expansion module, a Sega Genesis, and a Game Boy and they all had games that were slightly challenging but not too tough; so NES games seem stupidly hard to me. I guess if you grew up with a NES then the games on all of those systems would seem really easy by comparison.
