Well, I'm finally heading into the hospital for thyroid surgery in about an hour. I'm nervous as all get out about it but I know it needs to be done and I'll only be in the hospital until Friday afternoon. Wish me luck and have a good rest of your week everyone!

  Thank you so much for all the kind wishes and encouragement everyone! The surgery went well but apparently I had a really rough time coming out of the anesthesia and was sick all day yesterday, but luckily I don't remember much of it. I got let out of the hospital about an hour ago so I'm back home now, and I should recover just fine. I still feel pretty mentally foggy and my everything hurts, and will probably continue to hurt for the next 10 days or so, but at least it's ove...
