  Personally I've always liked it. I bought one when it first came out and it's never left my game center since then. I enjoy the unique controllers and was thrilled about the light gun gaming renaissance that they ushered in.

  Gr8 niche console imo. We only just fired it up again after years in hybernation. My kids are 15 and 18 now .. it was their 1st console, so this will be their 'Atari' when they're older. We've started buying the good titles and hidden gems whilst their cheap. In preparation for when the kids are older adults and want some retro gaming pew-pew!
