  I'll be alright in anywhere from a few days to a couple weeks, just gotta get lots of fluids and rest. Sadly I can't take decongestants due to thyroid problems, but like you said I've got a very supportive spousal unit and I can tough it out with her help. =)

  My advice would be to take antihistamines if you can and maybe something to help you sleep if needed, plus hot showers and cover your chest in Vaporub before sleeping...Get better man!!
