  1. I'm kinda surprised that Ninja Gaiden never got ported to the Atari 7800 back in the day. The Lynx had two Ninja Gaiden games and it would have filled the action-platformer genre gap on the 7800 much more nicely than Scrapyard Dog.

      ninja Gaiden 3 was really late is probably the main reason by 93 seGa had already broken nintendos hold on publishers

      In any event, 7800 owners back then sure got gypped. :-(

       

      I absolutely love the 7800 today, but jeez... so much wasted potential then. One of the biggest shames in gaming history.

      ^ Fortunately the 7800 has gotten some fantastic love from homebrew developers in recent years, so a lot of that potential is now being realized. Bentley Bear's Crystal Quest totally makes up for the lack of quality platformers on the 7800 back then. It's always been a great system for arcade game ports though, and even better now. =)
