Do you ever think back and realize that your life was happier before you got into retro gaming and started obsessing over acquiring a bunch of old hunks of plastic? I sure do, but I probably wouldn't be any happier if I gave it up because then I'd just have to find some other equally meaningless way to pass the time. I'm all sunshine and rainbows today. =P

  I've noticed that every 3 or 4 months I seem to go through a week or two of feeling like I kinda hate this hobby and don't want to own any of my Atari stuff anymore, then usually after a month or so I go back to wanting to play it again. I just chalk it up to occasional bouts of depression, but that doesn't make it any less unpleasant.
