  1. I am absolutely blown away by Silpheed on the Sega CD! It's one of those rare games with graphics that make you go "How is this system even doing this!?", and it's a darn fun game to boot.

      Wow, you aren't kidding. Just checked out a video on Youtube. I have found memories of the MS-DOS version and this just blows it away.

      Agreed! I usually breeze right through most vertical scrolling spaceship shooters, but I haven't been able to get past Stage 4 in this one yet. It's a lot of fun though and I'm still completely puzzled as to how the Sega CD is even able to push around so many polygons like this game does. I could imagine the original PlayStation playing a game like Silpheed, but seeing it running on the Sega CD is rather amazing.
