I think my small assortment of EverDrives and Harmony Encore may be the best things I've ever purchased when it comes to gaming. Being able to play any game I want on real hardware and all off one reasonably priced cartridge per system has been great, and it's pretty effectively squashed my game collecting bug.

  Those solutions are also great for those of us who try to create own stuff for testing and no means to publish own physical homebrews. Also nearly every obscure system has one or more solutions!

  Some people have gotten rid of whole collections thanks to these things, but I'm a lot more cautious than that. Seems they're going to be around for a while though, so that's good for when you need to replace when they go bad.
