  1. Having now spent 11 hours playing Super Mario Bros. 3 and finally making it to World 8 (where I am completely stuck) I can safely say that I hate this game. There is no reason whatsoever that a video game should ever be this oppressively difficult.

      I think frustration is a very Valid reason to hate the NES...I think some people hate on it, but have never played the games they would have liked on the system, if that makes sense.

      Most people seem to like something on it if they give it a chance, but everyone's different. Lot of people in Gamestop today raving about stuff that didn't seem very fun to me...

      True that GoldLeader, and there are a good number of NES games that I do really like. The original Super Mario Bros., Kirby's Adventure, Hogan's Alley, Freedom Force, and My Little Pony: Dr. Discord's Conquest (which is a pretty amazing hack of Mega Man 3). Most of the big name NES games like Zelda 1 & 2, SMB 3, and Metroid get a little too difficult for me to finish but there are some lesser talked about games on the system that I think are great. =)
