  1. Out of curiosity I decided to try playing a GameCube game on the Wii instead of my GameCube, since my Wii has component cables and I wanted to see how different the video quality would be from the GameCube's composite output. Holy hell I don't think I'll ever play GameCube games on the Cube again! The difference is so staggering that it looks like the games are running on a completely different engine.

      I still wouldn't mind trying out the HDMI thing you can get for the GameCube. Apparently the bugs have been worked out so it won't brick your console. I've played GameCube on my Wii before, but not in a while. Why did Nintendo make that output so crappy?

      There's a 480i mode in many GameCube games that does indeed sharpen up their graphics, and it's sinfully easy to access on a Wii. For even more fun, install Nintendont on your Wii. You won't even need to get up to insert the discs!

      I need to try Nintendont. :D But I like GameCube for Gameboy Advance games.
