  1. I can't decide whether Silent Hill: Shattered Memories on the Wii is the most genuinely ambitious video game I've ever played or the worst game I've ever spent $35 for a used copy of. It might be both.

      I completed SM on the PS2 but it was a very mixed bag.

       

      Went back for a second attempt this time on PSP, but just couldn't stomach the frustration any more,so abandoned it.

      Now that I've finished the game I think my opinion on it has changed drastically. It's not a traditional Silent Hill game by any means and the gameplay wasn't as exciting as I would have liked, but the story was out-freaking-standing. So outstanding that it made the game a definite keeper for me and I'm sure I'll play though it again someday.
