  1. Apparently the Wii isn't dead just yet. It was announced at Gamescom 2018 this week that publisher THQ would be releasing Let's Sing 2019 for the PS4, Switch, and original Wii. =O

      Nope, no Wii U, just original Wii. The original Wii is a remarkable system though. As long as publishers keep feeding it shovelware once or twice a year it will live forever. Just Dance 2018 for the Wii sold 0.34 million units at retail last year.

      The Wii also has sold 7.5 times as many units as the Wii U, so if they're supporting 1 obsoleted system in hope for extra sales, the Wii seems the better choice. OTOH the PS2 has sold another 50% more than the Wii, but perhaps Sony gamers to a larger extent moved on to PS3 and PS4, leaving most PS2:s in the closet or landfill.
