  1. I've been on a major werewolf movie kick this week and was wondering, for fans of the genre, what werewolf movie do you guys and gals think has the best practical creature effects?

Then there's the giant wolves in Twilight: New Moon, which I've never watched for obvious reasons, but the clips I've seen of the werewolf transformation sequences were totally rad. I agree about The Howling too, the transformation scene in that movie was just insanely good for 100% practical effects; and in 1981 no less!

I liked the transformation scene in "An American Werewolf In London," but the wolf itself, to me it always looked like a bear, too fat around the body and bow-legged.

I gotta check out Bad Moon then. I'm pretty sure I saw it a long time ago, but it's time for a re-watch. Thanks!
