I've been on a major werewolf movie kick this week and was wondering, for fans of the genre, what werewolf movie do you guys and gals think has the best practical creature effects?

  I know it's blasphemy but for some reason I just couldn't ever get into the classics like The Wolfman where the werewolves retained human facial features, it's just an aesthetic preference I guess.

  I did watch a werewolf movie I had never seen before tonight though, Bad Moon (1996), and I have to say it takes the cake for the absolute best werewolf costume I've ever seen in a movie! Dog Soldiers and The Howling are close tossups for second place, but the werewolf in Bad Moon just rocks! Absolutely amazing practical effects, and a great story too. It might be my new favorite werewolf movie. =)
