  I'll take wired every time if there's an option, since I find dealing with replacing or recharging batteries way more inconvenient than having a cord between the controller and the system. If I do have to use a wireless controller though then it's AA powered only for me. I loathe wireless controllers with internal battery packs since they always die after a few years of use and get tough to find replacements for as systems get older.

  I like good wireless controllers. As much as I ramble on about input latency on displays and audio equipment, wireless controller lag is imperceptible to me. I limit that statement to current consoles, 8bitdo retro controllers, and the Joyzz. Anything else I have no experience with.
