  1. What the heck was up with Konami's US releases during the 16-bit era? At this point I own 6 Konami games for the Genesis, and while they're all excellent in terms of graphics, sound, and control I've only ever been able to beat one of them. It's like someone at Konami was constantly screaming in the programmers' ears "AMERICAN LIKE GAME HARD!!"

      As the story goes, games were made harder in the United States because of rentals. Nintendo successfully lobbied against them in Japan, but not here.
