I'm liking Splatterhouse 2 a lot more after revisiting it again today, but it still feels like the bosses are way too hard. Like you need someone in the know to show you how to beat them and then even once you know what to do it'll still take a couple dozen tries to pull it off.

  Too bad the Genesis didn't get the original! I've never played the first Splatterhouse but I get the impression that it's generally regarded more highly than the sequels.
