So those shiny new dark red colored joy-cons that I imported from Play-Asia for my Switch ended up both being defective straight out of the box. The left one's rumble motor wasn't working and the right one's R shoulder button was jammed. Fortunately Nintendo is replacing both for free, but I had to send the originals into their repair center so I'll be without joy-cons for a couple weeks. =P

  So is Play-Asia an official retailer to Nintendo? I haven't followed that kind of business, I thought they would sell knockoffs and grey sales of stuff not meant for export.

  they *seem* a legit exporter from the reviews i've read online. I ordered my first thing from them this month (FF X / X-2 Switch Edition) so I'll see.
