  1. My birthday is coming up next month and I'm debating whether to drop the coin for a TerraOnion Mega SD or wait and see what Krikzz has in the works for the Mega EverDrive Pro slated for release this summer. I've always had good experiences with Krikzz's products, but the work TerraOnion put into getting the Sega CD audio on the Mega SD just perfect with the aid of FirebrandX and MDFourier is super impressive and I'd be a little bit surprised if the upcoming Mega EverDrive Pro is able to achieve that level sound accuracy. Virtua Racing compatibility on the Mega SD is definitely a plus too.

What do you guys and gals think? Is the Mega SD worth going for or should I bide my time and see what the $60 less expensive Mega EverDrive Pro brings to the table this summer?

Since you're asking, it sounds like you're on the fence. The tech they're simulating is going on 30 years old, so waiting doesn't seem to be a problem. I would hold off on a purchase so you can make an informed decision.

I'm biding my time, for what it's worth. Why not wait?

I'm gonna wait and see...But it's not common sense driving my decision;  It's lack of money.  😉
