Anyone on here still have a VCR and watch movies on VHS? Thinking of grabbing one since I'm enjoying my Laserdisc so much. VHS tapes would be a lot easier to find at yard sales, thrift shops, etc.

Feeling pretty sour right now. The Genesis I got at a yard sale years ago has a screw attached to the heat sink/shield that's so rusty that it's practically cemented into place. Nothing moves it, nothing! How the hell can I do an S-video mod on this thing with the sink in the way?

After 29 years of playing games on Nintendo systems I just realized tonight, while looking down at my GameCube controller, why B always comes before A and Y always comes before X on Nintendo controllers and handhelds. It's because the Japanese read from right to left. *facepalms*

Walked to the nearest park, sat on the baseball bleachers, and beat Kirbys Dreamland on my Gameboy Color at lunch. Incredibly satisfying experience. That game seemed a lot longer when I was a kid!

Finally getting around to watching Stranger Things. Got through the first episode; decided it's going to be a night of binge-watching and beer. Really liking what I've seen so far.

I give up on the 32x for now. Did all of the usual cleanings and musical chairs with adapters. Won't even play a 32X game consistently let alone a Megaeverdrive.
