apparently Gigamix Vol. 1 is really book 4 in the Udon universe. there's Megamix Vol. 1-3. but i suppose you knew that. great. now i need to track those down and not read this tonight like i was planning on.

I just bought Udon's MegaMan GigaMix Vol 1. this evening. i'm probably going to have a hard time with it because i've never read a "reverse format" book before (manga).
as for Archie, i have issues #1-#12 unopened and never renewed the subscription. i also have all the trade paperbacks released thus far. i haven't read any of them as i recently got into IDW's TMNT and finally caught up with that, then somehow got into Udon's Street Fighter series. i gave up on that when they switched artists in the 4th book (which SF II Turbo Vol 1).

that Rush Coil collection is incredible!!

FYI, i stopped scanning about halfway through issue #3 because my HP Envy started turning each panel on a page into separate pages, then started doing all kinds of weird shit like turning one word bubble into a full page. at some point i'll figure out how to adjust settings so it doesn't look for borders or whatever it's doing, but until then i have other projects i'm working on, plus some christmas shopping.

Issue #2 completed. went back and spent more time on Issue #1 edits (getting rid of more whitespace border and using the anti Fade feature in Paint Shop Pro 7, a very outdated program).
Might as well start scanning #3 before work today.

you should pick up a copy of MM 25 if you don't have it. it's a really thick book at almost 500 pages, it covers the entire original AND x series.

turn off the Kenny G and blow out the candles. that may help.

ugh...i had some trouble with Search Protect and "FrEeSoFtToDaY" a few weeks ago.

Ristar for $10 is a steal. that's probably the best GG title, IMO.
EverDrive GG: http://krikzz.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=53
everdrives are the way to go. every game on one cart on original hardware, so it's not emulation.

it is not a miniature Genesis in any sense.

i am now at 7 of 8 badges, with 80-something caught and 120-something seen.
the aforementioned kangaroo bitch is only one of 4 pokemon i cheated to get. the other three being charmander (the other starter), bulbasaur (the other other starter), and gengar (only available through trading from game boy to game boy via link cable).
oh and i did the money cheat so that i can have 99 ultra balls and 99 rare candies.
my team consists of Blastoise, Pidgeot, Gengar, Sandslash, Pikabitch, and (temporarily only for the "Strength" move) Slowpoke. My 6th slot is changed out frequently to try out new animals. FYI, Eeevie and Vulpix (sp?) both suck.
-
update: i gave in. 3 game genie codes later and that kangaroo bitch is all mine.

If I was celery, I would throw myself into a hot steamy pile of dung, or bury myself in dirt, or roll around in pesticide, color myself to appear rotten, or stick a fake expiration date on myself. boom. five levels.
catchphrase: "mmm, bitches love pesticide."

Black Bass and Blue Marlin for NES... Sega has a popular one for Dreamcast but I can't remember the title... Rapala Fishing for Wii... ...the NES titles might serve as a good inspiration for the VCS though.

i have a few ideas (obviously) since i kinda brainstormed the whole thing earlier today.
possible titles: Atari Championship Fishing, Atari Fishing, Legend of Sea Men Swallower
Game 1 - 20 minutes to catch 100lb (normal)
Game 2 - 10 minutes to catch 100lb (hard)
Game 3 - time attack. clock keeps ticking up from 0:00 until you reach 100 lb caught
Game 4 - freeplay (easy)
divide the water into zones. let's go with 9 zones. so for this example, 3 zones have no fish, 3 zones have small fish, 2 zones have medium fish, 1 zone has large fish
every 30 or so seconds, randomize the zone contents.
small fish: 1-5lb
medium fish: 6-15 lb
large fish: 16-30 lb
the legendary Sea Men Swallower: 69 lb
i'd type more but my 3 month old just exploded her diaper.

while Christmas shopping at Bed Bath & Beyond, I found and purchased for myself a copy of CCR Chronicle Vol.1 (double gatefold 2LP). it was $19.99, which is probably way more than what you paid for all the previously owned records you bought.
-
4 or 5 years ago it was $7.99 for streaming and 1 DVD at a time in the mail.
now it's $7.99 for streaming only or $7.99 for 1 DVD at a time only.
Netflix is not better now than then. you lose.

"Yars truly". I'm stealing it. You can email him about that too.
-
nah, it's a good title. use it. i don't own it!

i started a game with that title a few years ago. also wrote a song with said title in the late 90s.

i think you mean Gamecube disc, not DS cartridge!
i found a used Nintendo Land at my local LameStop today. it is still selling $59.99 new so i had no problem paying $14.99 for a copy that is in like-new shape.

Nope! It loves the current home it has! Nice try though!

depends on what your level designs look like

i noticed online that Udon has the hardcover version of MM25 for $99+s/h, so i bought that today. now i can let go of the sealed softcover version that i just wasn't happy with. (i will be opening the hardcover, though).
Megamix Volume 2 came in today, which is great, as i just finished the second story in Megamix Volume 1. i read online that the third story "Metal Heart" takes place after "Asteroid Blues" (which is somewhere in Gigamix). unfortunately they don't list a specific reading order, so i'm assuming it doesn't matter if i go straight through or not... *shrugs* ...?
