      You're either not using SSF or you don't have it configured properly. There's very little it doesn't emulate perfectly.

      SSF was the only one i DIDN'T try. I just finished up my yearly tradition of Christmas NiGHTS (a little late) and gave Mega Man 8 a spin. I don't remember the PS1 version having this horrible voice acting. i'm going to need to order a USB Saturn pad now. or maybe just a converter, seeing as i normally used my NiGHTS controller for everything.

    For whatever reason, I never played VCS RealSports Tennis until today. I played on Slow for my first try and played a perfect(?) game of 6-0, 6-0, third set skipped.

      The VCS Realsports line are great sports games for the 2600. My favorite was Volleyball.

    Just played through Jaws (NES). It's so fun and such a pain in the ass at the same time. I ended at power level 8 of 9. That's a personal best (and a LOT of frickin conch shells).

    just had a revelation/realization that my recently-deceased dog Zelda was 11 1/2 years old, not 10 1/2 years. not sure how i screwed that up (and for so long). i'm working on a blog to celebrate her life. best dog ever. RIP.

      Sounds like she had a long and happy life, which is wonderful. My dog Edison was only about 6-1/2 years old when I lost him.

      Ugh, was that here? Just a suggestion in the future--I do not trust web browsers when entering large blocks of text. I usually use a text editor on my computer and then paste that in when I'm done writing/editing it. I've lost text in various ways because of web browsers..

    still hooked on Snoopy Tennis (GBC). still haven't won a match yet (and I'm playing on Easy). i haven't enjoyed a Tennis videogame this much since Tennis (2600) and Mario Tennis (VirtualBoy)

      On C64 I loved Serve and Volley by Accolade, it had a sideways view, very unsual, but once I got used to it, it was fun playing.

    At the end of Link's Awakening. I didn't remember how much of a pain in the ass Eagle's Tower and Turtle Rock was. Still need one more Heart Piece before facing the Egg for 100% completion w/ zero deaths.

    one of my all-time favorite games is Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. i've played through it i think three times. i'm halfway through my 4th go and it's the first time i'm playing the DX version (GBC rerelease).

      Yep, that's a great game 4 sure ... I remember playing through the original Legend of Zelda on the NES ... At the end it would tell you how much time you spent on the game... Good Times...

    my last AA "status update" was on Apr 15, the day i got the Trovi/SearchProtect virus for the second time. i need to stop downloading zipped homebrew utilities. this hobby can really suck balls sometimes.
