Robotnik's is a reskinned version of a japanese game called Puyo-Puyo. it is not an original title. they did the same thing with Kirby with a SNES title. in fact it's the same game with different character sprites & music.

Archie had a sale where you could get all four trade paperbacks for $40. they came a bit banged up in the mail but i see that as an excuse to actually read them instead of worry about collector value. i also had subscribed the first year so i have issues 1-12 unread/sealed.

all of those, with the exception of one, were released under MGA Games (Micro Games of America). they're OOP now, but back when stores carried them they were $5.99 new.
that green Nintendo Donkey Kong Jr keychain, same price i believe.

quick minor update: after doing some research, i'm about to purchase some desiccant gel packs (those things you see in your shoeboxes). they help with moisture for long-term storage. a 50-pack (of 10 grams each) is currently $21.19 and should be more than enough. http://www.amazon.com/Silica-Gel-Desiccants-2-1-Inches/dp/B003DKQB02/ref=sr_1_1?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1372494762&sr=1-1&keywords=desiccant+pack

they're selling vinyl in freaken Target these days. vinyl is anything but obsolete. the compact cassette, however, is. and even THAT is making a comeback with some indie bands.
most audiophiles (it's a real word, look it up) prefer vinyl due to a fuller sound, a less tinny sound, etc. also there are some frequencies that are completely cut out when ripping to MP3, even at 320kbps or the slightly less popular VBR (variable bit rate). when listening to stuff like The White Stripes, that doesn't matter at all. but for orchestrated, big band, and jazz, the full sound has been reduced.
anyway, i love spinning my black circles.

LOL that could be a Game Gear too. if you can find one that still works, that is!

yes, Ikaruga.
i still play the shit out of Toadstool Tour, and the versus mode in Pikmin 2 became a ritual with my friends.
get Alien Hominid. the create-your-own-level feature in the PDA Games kept me busy for weeks.
try to track down the Legend of Zelda Collector's Edition or Ocarina of Time / Master Quest.
Mario Party 4 is a masterpiece.

oh the irony of this blog post.
greed: a selfish and excessive desire for more of something (ala R Zone games)
it's safe to say almost every gamer, every collector, is greedy.

the flashback 4 should be a portable with an SD card slot.
actually, that's what the FB3 was supposed to be but Atari went behind Legacy Engineering's back (the guys who did the FB1 & FB2) and hired some cheap chinese company to produce the FB3.

sweet. i'll give you 32K in monopoly money just for posting this demo.

you could make a fortune selling just the modded controller portion on eBay. nothing at all turned up for "jamma controller mod 3P 4P".
i would buy two controllers for my machine, which just a 2P double dragon. i just swap out boards. can't afford the money/space for second 4P cabinet so being able to plug two of those babies in for Don/Raph would be killer. it would force me to finally hunt down Xmen and Simpsons, too...

IIRC, i came up with the name Slaying Mantis for you. perhaps it could be an orphaned baby mantis avenging the death of his/her parents.
