    so my cigarette lighter socket came in the mail. i'm not surprised of the incompatibility considering the damn thing is ©1985. plus it started storming so i couldn't reconnect the battery and reinstall the center console. hope there's no emergency trip i need to make today.

    my Everdrive GB came in the mail yesterday but i'm still waiting on my Micro SD card from Amazon to come in.i the battery is kinda fat, i hope it fits in a regular GB case. if i have to use the clear GBC case i won't be able to use my original GB.

    today i purchased four 3DS games CIB for $31 total at a consignment sale (first one i've ever been to) including Pilotwings, Steel Diver, and the first 2 Skylanders games. oh yeah we also got some baby clothes.

      I don't think so. If the Intellivision version plays like the Aquarius version and uses the number pad, I'm not sure how something properly similar could exist on the 2600.

      This... It's amazing they got Space Aramada ported using just a joystick. Thinking about it now they could have used the keypad for BASIC Programming or even Star Raiders but gamers only wanted joystick games.

    bought a 15-pin gameport to USB adapter for my PC because it apparently did not have one as i previously thought. only then can i plug in my "new" gravis gamepad and play some old joystick-only games on my XP machine!

    is there a way to trick an older program into thinking a USB gamepad is a serial gamepad?

      Do you mean a game port gamepad? If it's a DOS program, you can run it in DOSBox, and the USB gamepad will be mapped to a virtual game port.

       

      Otherwise, it depends on the program. Some old Windows games targeted specific game port controllers, like the original Sidewinder, while others used the DirectInput API and will work with any DirectX-compatible gamepad.

      i've tried using DOSBox several times and was never able to mount any drive. i might just buy a Gravis Gamepad offa ePay and use my older XP machine.

    just reconditioned an old electronic LCD handheld of Konami TMNT that i got from eBay. cleaned all the contacts and now all the buttons respond well. it's a birthday present for my nephew.
