  1. Yeah,, I wish I could remember what their response was because I was planning on getting it if it worked with 2 button 7800 games/ (thankfully, later I got the wonderful Edladdin Seagull 78 adapter that does that) In the end, I bought their Light Gun and Europad.
  2. I think it only works on controllers, not light guns. If you contact them, they should give you an answer. I can't remember what it does. For some reason, i don't think it even allows you to use 2 buttons on 7800 games.
  3. I'm looking for feedback for the next episode of the Atari 7800 Game By Game Podcast (you can find it on iTunes, Stitcher, YouTube or use this feed: http://feeds.feedburner.com/78gbg ) What are your memories and/or thoughts on Alien Brigade & Tower Toppler on the 7800? Also, how would you rate them? I use a system of 4 choices (From Best to Worst): Hall of Fame Game (Top 5 game on the system) Solid Game "Meh" Game Trash Game (Bottom 5 game on the system) These games will be covered on Episode 23. You can also e-mail text or audio to [email protected] Just keep it family friendly You can also send feedback on previously covered games or the system itself. I'm also taking 7800 related Christmas memories this episode. Any submissions received by December 19 @ 6pm EST should be included.
  4. Ep 22 of the 7800 gbg podcast is now on iTunes & YouTube

  5. Ep 22 of The Atari 7800 GBG Podcast covering Motor Psycho & Fatal Run is now on iTunes and YouTube. The next ep will cover Tower Toppler and Alien Brigade. You can also send any 7800 Christmas memories, if you got any. If you send it by Dec 19 at 6pm EST, it should make the show.

Nice catch! I guess you could argue the rocket is somewhere else or that the comet that crashed into Earth caused the mountains, but my guess is the artist just thought it was pretty to add the mountains.

  7. Thanks! I might have mentioned this in the podcast, but Kevin also mentioned there was a balcony for the final battle that is never seen because the screen will not scroll far enough.
  8. You arcade purists always have to put your monitors on the side, don't you?
  9. 170,680 Just like tt, I had the best game of my life. Things just clicked. And I can't believe I was only 30 points away from toiletunes! Sorry tt !!!
  10. Ep 21: Rampage & Double Dragon is finally up on YouTube & iTunes: The next ep will cover Motor Psycho & Fatal Run. I might be able to get it done by next week.
  11. Man, do the fireballs get crazy after the second bonus round! 74,400 FYI - I think you forgot to post my 7800 version score in the latest update.
  12. Even though Ep 21 is still in editing at the time of this posting, I am hoping to get back on schedule, so I posting this now in hope to work on Ep 22 as soon as I get 21 posted. 13. Random Question: Do you have a 7800 2 button joystick plugged in when you turn it on? I once thought my Midnight Mutants cart was bad, however I only had a single button controller in it. Either a standard 2600 joystick or a Sega Genesis pad without an adapter. When I started it with a Pro-line controller, game started up perfectly.
  14. That's funny. Last week I recorded an intro for my upcoming NES review of Double Dragon. Check out this picture for the review (great minds...):
  15. Thanks for responding. I hope you can see that it can seem very suspicious for a new user to show up to promote a banned user's work. It is not all that unusual for banned users to make a new username and pretend to be someone else for various personal reasons. All the original post mentioned was that you were a part of the magazine, not what part you had in it or that Laird was the main force behind it. Also, while several members here can be obsessed with discerning if screenshots are true or not, that does not make it a witch hunt. Just a search for the truth. Has Kieren ever released a correction on contested screenshots? I will not contest his accomplishments or awards, however there have been award winning journalists in the past who have falsified what they report on for their own gain. The goal of the press is to report the truth. Good citizens tend to serve as a check and balance system for the press. I will hold nothing against anyone who chooses to buy your magazine, but they do have a right to know the past and make their own decision with full disclosure.
