  1. Full Disclosure Time: I was first made aware of this magazine a few months back at another forum. It appears to be headed up by former used The_Laird aka Laird's Lair. As a matter of fact, going to the fb page linked to the magazine's site takes you to Laird Lairs fb profile. At the previous forum, I believed he used a new forum name as he was previously banned from that site, but the new username was also banned and the post removed. I do not know all the details, but I believe part of his problems included falsifying proof of unreleased games, specifically for the Jaguar, claiming false screenshots were genuine. I am all for second chances, especially if the person man ups and admits wrong doing with a promise to turn around, but when the detail of who is head of this magazine is not mentioned, it gives me pause. It also takes away from the integrity of this magazine. RetroGamer128 might be a different person, but as a new user who just popped up solely to promote the magazine, it makes me think it may very well be this may also be The_Laird with a new screen name to hide from the past.
  2. Ep 219 Mario Bros (Atari 2600)

  4. Thanks as always for all the comments to my previous posts. I try to include all the comments that are posted by the time I record. I think they really help make the podcast better! This should be an interesting one I'm looking for feedback for the next episode of the Atari 7800 Game By Game Podcast (you can find it on iTunes, Stitcher, YouTube or use this feed: http://feeds.feedburner.com/78gbg ) What are your memories and/or thoughts on Rampage & Double Dragon on the 7800? Also, how would you rate them? I use a system of 4 choices (From Best to Worst): Hall of Fame Game (Top 5 game on the system) Solid Game "Meh" Game Trash Game (Bottom 5 game on the system) These games will be covered on Episode 21. You can also e-mail text or audio to [email protected] Just keep it family friendly You can also send feedback on previously covered games or the system itself. Thanks!
  5. Ep 217: The Original Mario Bros. (NES)

  6. Hmm, well let's see, they used Lynx, Jaguar and almost Panther. You could go Cougar, Leopard or Cheetah, but I'm going to go with my MOTU background and call it the Atari Battle Cat! (and yes, I know the cat name thing was a Tramiel deal)
  7. That was the greatest Lions win of my life so far! Hard to beat that without a Super Bowl win.

    1. Tombstone

      Tombstone

Knew that would happen when i saw a headline yesterday stating that Aaron Rodgers, who happens to be from right here in Chico, CA, "owned" the Lions.

  8. Ep 216: Towering Inferno (Atari 2600, which will also be on Fergs next show)

  9. Do they make a 16 direction joystick you can use in your products? I'm only asking because the disc on the controller was 16 ways. It would be amazing if somehow you could make a 16 way INTV joystick, with keypad that could fit overlays and two output cords for both models of intellivisions. Of course, they best people to talk about this would be the hosts of the Intellivisionaires about specifics.
  10. Ep 215: Pilotwings (SNES)

  11. Ep 20: Mario Bros. & Fight Night is now on YouTube & iTunes The Next Episode will cover Rampage & Double Dragon
  12. Ep 20 (Mario Bros & Fight Night) of The Atari 7800 Game By Game Podcast is now on YouTube & iTunes

  13. I'm glad to see the HSC is back up. I will try to remember to let listeners know on the next Atari 7800 Game by Game Podcast.
  14. I'm honored that anyone would take the time to mock my show. I really thought Mark did a great job using all the banned podcast words as swear words. Very creative. And I really dig the logo Willie!
