Gotcha! I wish there were more FMV games on ios.
-
I love FMV games! I have a 3DO, but some FMV games can be REALLY expensive on the 3DO. Is it true that FMV looks better on the 3DO then it does on the PS1 or Saturn? AFIK, the PS1 and Saturn were more powerful, so I don't see how the FMV could look worse.

I have one of those adapters so I don't have to use an RF switch box and cable, so what is the best cable to use to get the clearest picture, out of an older console, like the Atari 2600? I have a yellow cable, but I'm wondering if a red or a white one would be better? Or a black one? Or does it even matter?

Do Atari 800Xl games, and XE games, work on the Atari 400?..

What games is the 1200XL incompatible with? All Atari 8-bt computers seem wildly expensive to me, at least on Ebay, other then the 800XL. -

I didn't know there were any 3rd party drives for the A8. Interesting. -

Do all Atari 8-bit computers use the 1050 disk drive? I'm also interested in the XE computers; I love the Atari ST styling on them! The cartridge port is on the back of the XEs, but that's the only downside I see to them. -

OK, thanks! When you upgrade it to 48K, does that involve any wiring or soldering? And, what's the best Atari 8-bit computer model for playing disk games? -
Here's a cool collection of great, and goofy, Japanese commercials for the SG-1000 that I saw on Youtube:
-
OK, thanks. Do you have to do this with Rakuten? I wouldn't think so, since the site's in English.
-
Cool! I see a lot of SG-1000 games, hardware, and even a keyboard on Yahoo Auctions Japan. BUT, how do I purchase something without knowing any Japanese???
-
That's not good! OK, on Ebay there are two SG-1000 IIs complete in the box, and the seller is asking $250.00 for each of them. Is that a fair price? I have no idea as to where else I could find one, but I DON'T want to pay that much for an SG-1000 II. I'm not a collector, so I don't care about having the original box.
-
Thanks! I found a Youtube video on it here: But it looks like it's even harder to find then the SG-1000 II.
-
What the heck is the DINA? I've never heard of it before. So, the SG-1000 II will play SG-1000 games perfectly?
-
Besides the SG-1000. I ask, because the Sega Mark II and Mark III are probably cheaper then getting an SG-1000. I have been told both that you can and can't play SG-1000 games on a Mark III console, so I'm pretty confused. The Mark II, I don't know about.

I own a 3DO, but I'm curious as to what type of old Macintosh I'd need to play games like Shockwave, and others, that were also on the Macintosh? I used iMacs sometimes in college in the late 1990's for word processing, but I don't think any of them had CD-ROM drives, which you'd need to play games like Shockwave.
-
Good news! What about Activision games? I don't care about any of their sports titles, but I love games like Crackpots, Chopper Command, and both River Raid games.
-
Good to hear! I just bought an Atari 2600 Jr. on Ebay!
-
OK. What about the newer Atari 2600 homebrew games? I just played the demo of Stay Frosty 2, and I really loved it.
-
Thanks for the link! So, what's the best model of 2600 to get for compatibility?
-
What Atari 2600 games are incompatible with the Jr.???
