  1. Not anymore, the site now has no restock estimate.
  2. I'm gonna try bumping this just once before turning it into a Harmony thread... anyone know how to format an SD card for the Harmony, as nothing I have tried seems to make it happy? I updated the firmware via USB without issue.

As per usual, I must ask your location. It's not that we don't all love you folks living in Ice Station Zero, just I'd be more likely to respond if you are down the street.
  4. Hmm. Since PSVR has an HDMI input I wonder if it will do 3D the same as a 3D TV?
  5. Meanwhile, I've tried a 24MB and a 1GB card formatted as Fat12, Fat16, and Fat32, but I always only get this error on the Harmony. Any suggestions are welcome!
  6. It was fairly straightforward, although I had to bypass their color signal and attach directly to the motherboard, as seen here on the bottom. I'm assuming it doesn't really make a difference. Any ideas from where to tap audio?
  7. I dunno, it worked for me. Maybe if you clear your browser cache?
  8. Thanks, I ordered one, hopefully it will arrive while I still have all this free time.
  9. I'm Googled out... does anyone know of a video mod for 2600's that does not require removal/cutting of existing components? I'm imagining a circuit board that plugs into the Tia Maria chip and intercepts the video while simply not continuing the output to the existing modulator circuitry.
  10. ...have good screen, no battery door.
  11. Although other games work fine on the Powerpak + Super Famicom.
  12. Does anyone know how to run NSML on a Powerpak? All I see is the title screen, which locks up. I also tried a Dr. Professor II, but the rom is too big for one floppy and I'm not sure how they split to multiple disks. (EDIT) This message was referring to running it on an original Super Famicom, I just tried the same Powerpak on a Hyperkin handheld and Super Mario Land ran OK. So, NSML is OK on clones but not on original hardware.
  13. What's up with all of the major chips being socketed?
  14. I'm in the same boat, did you try reading and writing a regular floppy before installing the Gotek? I think a different FDC might not solve the issue.
  15. Please help me. I have this much 1088 finished thus far. There are three microcontrollers required, where does one find the code to put on these? If I were to use a Sophia, would the VGATE MCU be needed? If I don't see a need for a mouse, is the MOUSE MCU required for the board to function?
  16. My hypothesis is, since Atari is at this point a division of Warner Brothers, the same Wrecking Crew-stye band that they used for music might have been involved. Who did the music for Vega$?
  17. Needs an stm32 just to increment the address and read the data? Well, I gather they are inexpensive.
  18. I've fitted a 5" 16:9 screen, which in 4:3 mode precisely fit the display opening. I must again express amazement that one year after GameBoy and Lynx there was a battery powered portable that could play soundtrack-enhanced versions of Amiga games.
  19. Well, I'll be.. that did the trick, thank you! DiscJuggler kinda failed, but rather than dig into the absurd amount of settings, I just tried it in ImgBurn, burned Zelda at the full drive speed, and it worked.
  20. That's oddly precisely what it says it can't fathom...
  21. Update: DiscJuggler and ImgBurn running on Windows under Parallels would not acknowledge the Phillips disc format. macOS Disk Utility has removed the image writing function.
  22. I should have specified "on a modern Mojave Mac". I was using Toast, but that app recently died of 32-bitness. BTW, this darn Sony thing is fully portable (uses a camcorder battery,) color, and pretty advanced for something that came out within a year of the original GameBoy.
